2008 Winner of the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence for the Outstanding Reviewer Award for work on Construction Innovation: Information Process Management 2007 volume.

RMIT is a university with about 40,000 students. It has an academic model of 3 ‘portfolios’ or kind of super faculties one for Business Studies, One for Design and Social Context and a third for Science Engineering and Technology. Each year they have publications prize to award recognition for the academic staff who has published the most peer-reviewed publications in the year. I have won the award for the last three years in succession for the Business Portfolio.

2006: RMIT Publications Award for most refereed publications in the Business Portfolio (super-faculty) 3rd time!

2005: RMIT Publications Award for most refereed publications in the Business Portfolio (super-faculty) 2nd time

2004: RMIT Publications Award for most refereed publications in the Business Portfolio (super-faculty) 1st time

2003: RMIT Research innovation award (Business portfolio)

Professional bodies have recognised my contribution. I was invited to accept the membership grade of 'fellow' in the Australian Institute of Building and earlier in my career in 1978 I won a Certificate of Commendation from the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Ian Murray Leslie Award for my paper entitled 'A Canadian Approach to Cost Control and Project Management'.
